District Cricket League T20 (DCL T20)

Introduction

The **DCL T20 (District Cricket League T20)** is committed to fostering a competitive, respectful, and sportsmanlike environment for all players, teams, officials, sponsors, and spectators. This Code of Conduct applies to every individual associated with DCL T20, including players, coaching staff, and support personnel.

1. Player & Team Conduct

Players and team officials must uphold fairness, integrity, and the true spirit of sportsmanship at all times.
Any form of disrespect, abusive language, or misconduct toward umpires, opponents, officials, or spectators is strictly prohibited.
All players must follow the match-day rules and regulations set by DCL T20.

2. Respect for Umpires & Officials

Umpires’ decisions are final and must be respected on the field.
Any disputes may be raised with the tournament referee or league management *after* the match, in a respectful and formal manner.
On-field arguments, aggression, or intimidation toward umpires will result in immediate disciplinary action.

3. Anti-Doping & Substance Policy

The use of banned substances or performance-enhancing drugs is strictly forbidden.
Random doping tests may be conducted in accordance with DCL T20 policies and national sports regulations.

4. Anti-Corruption Measures

Match-fixing, betting, or any attempt to improperly influence match outcomes is strictly prohibited.
Any suspicious activity must be reported immediately to DCL T20 management.

5. Professional Appearance & Uniform

Teams must wear officially approved DCL T20 jerseys and kits during all matches.
Players are expected to maintain a professional appearance throughout the tournament.

6. Discipline & Penalties

Violations will be categorized and penalized as follows:

Level 1 Violations (e.g., dissent, minor verbal abuse): Warning or monetary fine.
Level 2 Violations (e.g., aggressive behavior, serious verbal abuse): Match suspension.
Level 3 Violations (e.g., physical assault, game tampering, corruption): Expulsion from the tournament and potential legal action.

7. Spectator & Sponsor Conduct

Spectators and sponsors must behave responsibly and respectfully within the venue.
Unauthorized advertisements, offensive banners, or disruptive activities are not permitted.

8. Social Media Responsibility

Players, teams, and stakeholders must refrain from posting defamatory, offensive, or harmful content about the DCL T20 or its partners.
Confidential league information should not be shared on personal or team social media channels.

9. Grievance Redressal

Any complaints or concerns related to conduct or match incidents may be submitted in writing to the DCL T20 Ethics Committee at:

10. Compliance
